How to play the map:

1. Make a new folder in your Marathon Folder, and call it "Megiddo Game"

2. Place the "Map.Megiddo" file in that folder.

3. Place a COPY of your Marathon Infinity "Shapes" file in that folder, and rename it "Shapes.Megiddo"

4. Run the "Shapes.Megiddo_Patch" application, and when it asks for a shapes file to patch, select the COPY you made names "Shapes.Megiddo". When the patch is finished it will offer to optimize the shapes file for you... let it if you have the HD space to spare.

Note: you will need 20Mb of hard drive space in order to create the new "Shapes.Megiddo" file successfully. Please don't overwrite your original "Shapes" file, because your original Marathon will look really goofy if you do. If you don't want to use my textures with the scenario, be warned that it will look really bad without them.

5. When you want to play the scenario, open the "Megiddo Game" folder, and highlight the "Shapes.Megiddo" and "Map.Megiddo" files and drag and drop them onto the Marathon Game application.

revised March 17, 1997. I switched from a ResCompare based shapes patch to a Shape Juggler shuttle file. It seems to have fewer problems on some people's systems, and is very very fast.

revised March 26, 1997. I added a new landscape graphic for the final level so it looks more Pfhor homeworld-like.
